Reader comment: "I love this cookbook. My
son gave it to me as a Christmas gift, and he doubled the gift by
buying one for himself. The book is divided into countries and
respective recipes from that country. I decided to cook through the
book, one dish from each country, and then repeat the process. Every
dish I've made has gotten an A+ from my husband and me. I then tell
my son what I fixed and our response. This is definitely an exciting
adventure! If you want to get away from the boredom of a fixed
routine of the same old dishes, this book is for you. I love all the
pictures because I know what the dish should look like. My biggest
dilemma is choosing the next dish. It's fantastic eating dishes that
other cultures relish. Buy one today and enlarge your world!"

Culinaria France (Paperback) ~ Andre Domine (Author)
Product Description: Food and culture are inexorably tied
together. The Culinaria series reports on every aspect of a country
s cuisine within the context of the people who created it. One of
the most successful series in cook book history, these new editions
are updated with the guidance of first-class chefs, and come in a
durable flexi-cover format to withstand abuse while spending time in
the kitchen.
The teams behind each Culinaria volume spend months in the region
they are working on, allowing them time to fully absorb all of the
food and drink a country can offer. Profusely illustrated with
spectacular photography and abundantly peppered with authentic
recipes, these volumes are a treat for both the mind and the palate.
Learn about the history behind the dishes, their cultural
significance, and how to prepare them. Beautiful photographs take
you on a tour from the local villages to inside the kitchen where
you will find the final product. Enormous variety of magnificent
photographs and tempting recipes together with knowledgeable text
that is easy for readers and cooks of all skill levels to
understand.
Reader review: "I love this beautiful cookbook! I have
been staying in France for almost three years and would be going
back to my own country soon. I had been looking for a French
cookbook which contains recipes for the delicious food I eat here.
This is the best I have found."

The Paleo Diet
This
book by Loren Cordain PhD is an important part of the
Paleo-Mediterranean diet and Dr Vasquez's 5-Part Nutritional protocol.
Dr Vasquez's comment:
Although I don't consider this book perfect (for example, I think
people do need to take vitamin
supplements, and I think one should not cook with
flaxseed oil), this book is helpful for providing concepts (first
half of book) and recipes (second half of book) that can make
healthy eating and healthy living much more accessible to the
general population. Of note, Loren Cordain is a well-respected
researcher in the nutrition field.
