Cautions: Because of the “detoxifying” benefits of fruit/vegetable concentrates, patients taking pharmaceutical drugs should take their drugs about 2 hours before or after taking this product in order to ensure that the detoxifying effects of PhytoGreens does not block drug absorption.  Vegetables are sources of vitamin K, and thus a concentrated source of vegetable juices might have enough vitamin K to interfere with anti-coagulant drugs such as Coumadin/warfarin—patients taking these drugs should inform their doctor when using this product and should have regular monitoring of their blood tests in order to ensure that their improved vegetable intake and vitamin K intake is not causing problems with the medication.
