How to make your own "Greek yogurt" from normal yogurt

Ingredients and Preparation:

  • Take 48 ounces of regular yogurt and let the water/fluid drip out of it by straining it through a finely-woven cheese cloth placed in a strainer or colander for 1-2 hours depending on the thickness you desire (more drip time = more thickness).  You can let it drip into a bowl or into the sink--it does not need to be refrigerated during this process.
  • That's it.  Your done.

Serving Recommendations:

Health Benefits of This Meal:

  • Dense protein: about 20 grams of protein per serving
  • Probiotics: good bacteria for your intestines to help prevent problems such as food allergies, nutritional deficiencies, and inflammatory diseases
